Head2HEAD & Team news - Crewe Alex 24/3/07

With the Millers boosted by last weekends win, confidence in the camp will be higher and the squad has also this afternoon been boosted with the addition of Che Wilson, a 27 year old full back who joins the club on loan to the end of the season from Championship Southend United.

Mark Robins takes charge of his fourth game as caretaker, should he manage to bring points home then he must be one of the serious contenders for the job full time! however he has a couple of injury worries ahead of the game.

Martin Woods has not trained all week after he went over on his ankle at Brentford, Robbo is hopeful that he will be fit enough to feature however. Also  injured at Brentford was Michael Keane, he came off after a clash of heads and subsequently visited hospital in London. Speaking to Millersworld today,

he said that his ear is still sore and he has been told not to do anything but could be fit to play as he was not concussed.

"We'll assess him today and see how he is, The medical advice was not to do anything for a few days." Mark Robins told todays Rotherham Star.

Rossi Jarvis played in last nights England U19 game and came off at half time suffering with a knock, but again he is expected to be fit to play.

Crewe boss Dario Gradi has somewhat of an injury headache with no less than 6 players definately out while 4 others have doubts.

Former Miller Jon Otsemobor will not face his former club, he has a hamstring injury, another former Millers Julien Baudet has been ill this week, a check will be run on him along with Danny Woodards.

Good news for the Millers is that Luke Varney is out, Darren Moss, Nicky Maynard and Michael O'conner likewise. Ryan Lowe is available though after a gashed leg has healed.

Crewe have also boosted their squad with the signing of Watford winger Anthony McNamee on loan til the end of the season.
