Head2Head & Team News - Colchester (A)

Last updated : 27 April 2006 By Deano
With the Millers aiming to survive both on and off the field, Colchester are set for their highest ever league finish and hope for an automatic promotion spot into the Championship.

Its crucially tight at both ends of the table, whilst Southend can clinch promotion with a good result at Swansea, the MK Dons could close the gap on the Millers heading into the final day of the campaign.

Halford
Colchester have sold all their tickets and it's blue and white day on Saturday, but manager Phil Parkinson has a few injury headaches. Richard Garcia is out 'til pre season after a cartilage operation this week, whilst a few other niggles are affecting his squad. Midfield will be a key area, with Neil Danns, who was named in the league one team of the season, a constant threat along with Greg Halford. Ex-Millers
JCR
Kevin Watson and Jamal Campbell-Ryce could line up against their former club whilst Marino Keith has been out all season with ankle damage.

Butts
The Millers have a slight doubt over Martin Butler, who has a knee problem but hopes to be fit. Will Hoskins stands by to partner Paul Shaw if Butts doesn't make it in time. Paul McLaren is likely to replace Stephen Quinn in the middle of midfield after the ginger ninger returned to Sheffield United, he'll certainly be missed. Lets hope Lee Williamson can find his best form again after a quiet few weeks which has seen him playing through an injury. Other than that the lads have a clean bill of health from the 1-1 draw against Scunthorpe last weekend.
