Anyone bothered about this game from a 'local rivalry' perspective? Or is it just myself that sees this as merely another three points on offer in the rollercoaster of Rotherham United's season.

A 2-1 defeat on Tuesday against an Aldershot side, fast becoming the second Chessie themselves with their hoodoo over the Millers, probably put paid to any lingering play off hopes - though with three home games still to come back to back, starting tomorrow, you just never know what Rotherham are going to throw in your direction in return for your money.

After two good wins over Rochdale and Chester on the road, the Millers will be looking to respond after their midweek blip, prior to the Shots visit a seven game unbeaten run had looked encouraging, but our visitors are on a flying run themselves and arrive in South Yorkshire following three points at table toppers Brentford and still fancy themselves to make a late play off charge, with games in hand on the pack above them.

The previous encounter this season saw a last minute winner sink Rotherham's hopes of a point at Saltergate, whilst the corresponding fixture at Millmoor last season ended with a 2-1 win for Rotherham.

Boss Mark Robins has no new injury concerns and should have Drewe Broughton available again after a head and ear injury, which he received stitches for. Jamie Clarke is pushing for a start after his goal in midweek after comng off the bench whilst skipper Pablo Mills may return to the starting 11.

Elsewhere, loanee Simon Thomas has returned to Crystal Palace.

Spireites boss Lee Richardson also has the luxury of a full squad to choose from. Former Miller Gregor Robertson returns, as does Jamie Winter after five weeks out injured.

Midweek scorer Martin Gritton should be passed fit to lead the line with dangerman Jack Lester after a knock to his foot.
