The Millers take a break from the league and turn attentions to the Carling Cup, with a possible lucrative money spinner awaiting in the third round.

Championship outfit Norwich pay a visit to Millmoor for the first time since a 4-4 thriller a couple of years ago, when the Millers came from behind with ten men only to be pegged back in the closing minutes. A repeat of that game would be quite good value for the £12 admission price!

Boss Nigel Worthington is expected to rest a few of his first teamers but is also hampered by injury troubles. Norwich netted just their first away goal at Southend last week but the boss must do without the services of Darren Huckerby (groin), Andrew Cave-Brown (ankle) and Joe Lewis (cheekbone).

Ex Miller Carl Robinson may line up in the centre of midfield or Worthington may go with Andy Hughes, whilst Peter Thorne could be recalled for a run out after a long running groin problem.

Doubtful

Onto the Millers and Alan Knill will be without Delroy Facey, who may be facing a long term absence with his ankle injury. Dave Hibbert is extremely doubtful with a nose injury and will see a specialist to determine whether or not he can participate. However it's expected he won't make it with the only change coming as Ryan Taylor partners Will Hoskins in attack.
