Head2Head & Carling Cup team news - Peterborough (A)

Carling Cup round one
Peterborough United v Rotherham United
10 August 2010, London Rd. 7.45pm

carlingcupbigRonnie Moore takes a changed Millers team to the Posh tomorrow knowing his side are in for a tough game with a host of injury problems.

Having done enough to edge out Lincoln City at the weekend, Moore has to make two changes to an already new back four. Right back Dean Holden and fellow loanee Exodus Geohaghon, forbidden from lining up against his parent club, will drop out of the side meaning Moore faces a headache with no fit recognised right back at the club.

It could well be that Jamie Green fills in as he was asked to do in pre-season. Luke Ashworth will make his debut at centre back alongside Ryan Cresswell.

Elsewhere it's likely to be as you were with the starting 11, with Mark Bradley, who came on for 15 minutes of Saturday's game, missing from the bench due to Wales U21 International duty.

Posh had a bright and breezy start with a 3-0 win over Bristol Rovers at home on Saturday, with dangermen George Boyd and Aaron McLean both getting off to scoring starts. The pair pose the most dangerous threat for the Millers back four.

However Gary Johnson's men are missing skipper and midfielder Grant McCann who is away with Northern Ireland, but are likely to include Wolves loanee Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, once a loan target for Ronnie Moore, if he is given the all clear to play and passes a fitness test.

Prices are £13 seating and £9 for covered terraces, Millers fans can pay on the night.
