Harrison set for Hartlepool return

The summer signing from Tranmere strained a thigh muscle in last week's 1-1 draw with Barnsley and missed the game against Sheffield United as a result.

However, Harrison looks to have got over the injury and should be available tomorrow providing a boost following the disappointing news that fellow new signing Mark Hudson will miss the first six weeks of the season with knee ligament damage.

The 24 year old was Mark Robins' fifth summer signing and will most likely feature in central midfield where the boss will be hoping his team can notch just their second victory in seven pre season matches.

He told the Rotherham Star: "This will be a different sort of test to the last two but a stiff one nonetheless.

Hartlepool got promotion from the league we are going to be in and this will give us a better indication of what we're going to be facing over the next nine months." said Robins.

Kick off is at 3pm.
