Midfielder Danny Harrison has signed an extension to his contract keeping him at Don Valley for another year.

To stay was a no-brainer to be honest," Harrison told the club's official website.

"We have made some good additions in the summer and the club is really on the up at the moment.

"There is loads of ambition at the club and I see no reason why we shouldn't be in the play-offs or automatic places next year.

"There are more competition for places this season which is what we all want. The squad is looking better and we are all confident that we can make it back to League One."

Danny joined the Millers in May 2007 from Tranmere Rovers where he had made over 100 appearances.
