Harford has led Rotherham, his first role as a number one, on a 15 game winless streak that has seen the Millers slip from the play offs to the relegation zone but is still apparebtly attracting interest from the South Coast.
Colin: Favourite

Pompey, who sacked Alain Perrin last week are understood to want Colin as their new man but have also asked Rangers for permission to speak to Alex McLeish. It is thought that another option that Milan Mandaric may go for is to appoint a Director of Football with a younger coach and with David Pleat currently holding an advisory role, he would be favourite to get that and has touted Harford as a potential assistant.

This is not the first time that Harford has had interest from a Premier League club as Stuart Pearce wanted to take him to Manchester City as his number two but with Harford just weeks in to the job at Millmoor he decided against it.

Meanwhile as he prepares his side for the relagtion clash with Swindon at the weekend, Harford is under no illusions as to the severity of the situation. "We are in the bottom four and in trouble and if we don't start getting points now we'll be relegated. But I believe we can turn the corner and we have two must-win games to come." he told TeamTalk.
