Mick told the clubs official website that he has recieved plenty of intrest from other clubs about current Rotherham United players, whom Harford has told the majority that they can leave if the right deal comes in for them.

He told themillers.co.uk "I have received telephone enquiries about some of them but nothing has been a definite offer at the moment although that is something you can expect at this time of the year. It is a similar story with players who I am looking to sign - I have done a lot of initial work and I will be speaking to possible signings this week."

According to the Rotherham Star one player Harford is chasing is Manchester United's
former England under 20 midfielder David Jones, possibly on a season long loan deal.

Harford confirmed that he would be looking to use the long term loan system at the recent RUST fans forum.

Harford told the Star that hes looking for young players who have a hunger, "I want players who are young and hungry, I want to re-energise the club and want to bring in some young players who will bring a freshness and a new enthusiasm.

"Also I want players with a hunger for the game, who want to do well.Of course, I want good players on decent wages but then so does everybody else." He added.
