"It's really frustrating and annoying," said Hamshaw.
"It's probably the lowest ebb at home. The Donny and Cardiff games were disappointing but to lose in that manner is not who I am or who the club is.
"That's the frustration but it's for me to put right."
"We had enough chances," added Hamshaw.
"Hamish hits the post, Jordan Hugill could have scored in the first half and Kian Spence had a great opportunity. They need to go in. We hit the post twice and the keeper makes some real good saves.
"I haven't seen them yet but the stats will suggest we had a better xG. It's all rubbish because you've got to take your opportunities. That's the frustration for me."
