The top scorer couldn't agree terms with the Sussex club after the Millers had accepted their six figure bid, but talks are set to re-open to try and conclude a deal with the player keen to make a move South.
Boss Steve Evans confirmed over the weekend: "Crawley are still very keen so perhaps that may re-ignite itself.
"I know there needs to be some movement on both sides if he is to join them.”
