Gilchrist Completes Oxford Switch

32 year-old Gilchrist was released by the Millers at the end of last season having spent just over two years at Millmoor and becomes Jim Smith's first summer signing. The defender returns to the U's aiming to get them back into league football at the first attempt, after previously playing over 200 games there earlier in his career.

He told Oxford's official site: "It's great to be back, but it's all about what we do in the future now, not what happened here the first time.”
