Last night a caller to Radio Sheffield Football Heaven, calimed to be one of
Another Bid???
Neil Freeman's mates, and told us that the Booths were ready to walk away, and that Neil Freeman had put another bid in to save the club.

However, when Radio Sheffield tried to ring him is phone cut off, maybe due to the fact that he is in Spain?.

But in this morning's sports bulletins, it was claimed that Freeman was having talks with Ken Booth this afternoon (friday) about the bid.

But the club denied this, and said "There have been three meeting's this week about the sale of the club, and none of them have had Neil Freeman's name mentioned."

So just what is happening?? Going on the posts on the MillersMad messageboard, people are now starting to get sick of hearing the same old story, and are now wanting Freeman to put his money where his mouth is.

Big Al
Meanwhile, rumours on the grapevine is that Alan Lee has been offered back to Rotherham United, for a fee of £100k.

Lee left Millmoor about 15 months ago, in an £800k move to big spending Cardiff, But has'nt set the goalscoring charts alight and they're in a relegation battle with us in the Championship.

£100k is a lot of money to find for RUFC at the moment, but surely this has got to be worth it (assuming that the rumour is true). The reaction big 'al got from the Millmoor faithful was excellent, and he kissed the badge in return. But would he come back?

One thing is for sure, he will have to take a massive drop in wages to return to Millmoor, and he has always said that he wants to earn as much money as he can from his career.

Will another spell as Millmoor be attractive to him?
