"He had the opportunity to go to other clubs but chose to come here.He's had an excellent career, played in the Premiership and they think the world of him at Norwich after 10 years there."

Craig himself admits the Knill factor played a massive part on deciding his next move at the latter stages of his career. He explained: "Norwich has been a massive part of my life but this was an opportunity to play first team football and the chance to link up again with Alan Knill - he was a major factor in me coming here."

Knill also captured the siging of Theo Streete until the end of the season yesterday and added: "Theo can play in different positions at the back and I've watched him and I'm pleased to have him here. He'll come here and show what he can do."
