Last updated : 13 March 2014 By Deano

Charlton have this week replaced Chris Powell with Jose Riga, Leeds boss Brian McDermott was humbled at home by his former club Reading, while the Wolves juggernaut rolled on as they made it nine straight wins.

Simon Thomas will be joined by former Bradford and Scunthorpe midfielder Peter Beagrie for a coffee in the FL72 café on Thursday evening, as they dissect this week's fixture double and look ahead to the weekend's action.

One game which stands out is Derby's trip to the Madejski Stadium as they take on fellow promotion hopefuls Reading, but there are plenty more eye-catching fixtures to stir up some chat...

CHAMPIONSHIP - New Charlton boss Jose Riga faces a relegation six-pointer as the Addicks travel to fellow strugglers Millwall on Saturday, while second-placed Burnley take on a Leeds side which has conceded nine goals in two games.

LEAGUE ONE - There's a mouthwatering clash at the top of the table as Leyton Orient host Brentford in Saturday's early kick-off, playoff hopefuls MK Dons and Peterborough face off at stadium:mk, and Sheffield United go to high-flying Preston.

LEAGUE TWO - It's the battle of the sides in poor form as top-of-the-table Chesterfield - without a win in three - host sixth-placed Oxford United, who are on a five-game winless run, while Scunthorpe aim to halt Plymouth's surge towards the playoffs and Northampton look to make it six unbeaten with victory over Mansfield.

Watch FL72 Preview, 5pm, Thursday, Sky Sports 1 for all the above and the midweek goals round up.
