Facey set for Millers exit?

Facey, who bagged 10 goals for the Millers in last year's relegation fight, is still under contract but is thought to be keen to stay in League One, which adds weight to rumours that he is one of the player's with a relegation release clause in his contract.

The Huddersfield born striker was signed from Tranmere last summer and made a slow start before an upturn in form after Christmas saw him produce some excellent displays and Millers boss Mark Robins would have been hoping to build his team around the 6ft man next season.

However, with rumours rife on our messageboard and the Rotherham Star reporting that Facey has been in secret talks with the Kent club, Robins could well be left with no recognised experienced striker at the club.

If he was to leave Facey would join Michael Keane, David Worrall, Neil Cutler, Gary Montgomery, Eugen Bopp, Martin Woods, Colin Murdock, Gregor Robertson and Theo Street, who have all left the club since the summer.
