Evans warns players not to slip up

Evans' men face two home games in the next two weeks, against lowly Rovers tomorrow, weather permitting, and then against in form Northampton.

After last weeks postponement at Oxford the Millers still have 11 away games to play and after a dip in recent home form, the boss hopes his team can get back to winning ways at the New York Stadium.

Evans told the Advertiser: “We pre-warned the players about Barnet. One or two listened and one or two didn’t. We’ll be doing the same for this game because we know how tough it is going to be.

“We’ve got Bristol Rovers and then Northampton at home and if we take six points we will be very much back in the frame for automatic promotion.

“February and March will be busy months. We’re going to need a strong squad and apart from one or two more tweaks in the next week or so, we will have what we need.

“We're ready to get back into action this weekend and I know the players would rather play than train.”
