Evans told Radio Sheffield that no players will leave on loan with his squad fairly thin on the ground at the moment, but that he may add one or two faces after a short trip to Europe on a scouting mission.
He said: "If we do add to this group, and we are looking to do so, it`s just about covering every aspect of something going wrong in what is a big six or seven week period for us.
"You only have to look at what it`s done for James Tavernier and Richie Smallwood who have been absolutely terrific."
Mark Bradley will have his knee operation this week as he misses the rest of the season.
