"We have shown a couple of players around and they cannot be anything other than impressed, can they?" said the gaffer.
"They have had a look and now they've gone away so hopefully we will have some good news. They are from higher than League Two, they are good players at good clubs.
"They are experienced players at the right age and from my chats with them they are still hungry. They have impeccable references, and obviously I have watched them both on a number of occasions, and both would be good signings."
It's believed one of the players is Yeovil's out of contract top scorer Andy Williams, who has also been offered improved terms to stay at Huish Park.
