A DVD has been sent to the League officials chief David Allison today, containing several incidents which highlight the performance of Tyne & Wear official Andy Haines and a number of players conduct.

“There was an elbow by Deon Burton on Ian Sharps which should not have gone unpunished and there were a number of key incidents which were missed,” Evans told the clubs official website.

“In the second half there was a clear penalty for a foul on Alex Revell whilst Liam Ridehalgh was also fouled when running into the box. Towards the end of the game Ben Pringle also had a shot which was handled just outside the area, which should have been a free-kick.

“The key incidents have also been highlighted on Millers Player," added Evans.
