“We’re far from finished doing business, We know we need to get stronger, we need to get better. We’re looking for some quality." Evans told todays Star.
"The thing that I spoke to the chairman about is that if we’re going to add in this window, when we lost Alex etcetera, we’re going to add some quality, people who can make a difference. We’ll try to add one or two. But its not six or seven here.”
“There’ll be movement. There will be maybe one or two go, Those lads have got options to go and its no secret who they probably are.”
Since the window opened, Evans has brought 3 players in, Danny Ward on a 2 1/2 year deal and midfielders Adam Hammill and Jack Barmby on loan.
“I’ll tell you what, we’re better than we were when the transfer window opened, We’re significantly better. The three lads that we’ve seen and the supporters who have made the long trip down there (to Brentford) and been fantastic will have seen - have made a difference.” he added.
