Evans insists Millers aren't struggling

He told the Advertiser: “For all the outstanding football we've been playing, we need to start winning matches again. We have a strong squad but you don't have to be a football coach to realise what part of the product has been missing. If we had someone to put the ball in the net, we'd be second or third but let's get this straight, this is not a Rotherham United team that's struggling.

“This is a team that is only a couple of points off the play-offs and the progress over the last 15 months has been incredible. What we need to do is get back to our early-season results and if we do then we will be in the leading group.”

The mid table U's arrive after a confidence boosting win over Peterborough last week, and Evans said: “They're a young, hungry team and they've added a couple of shrewd loan signings. From our point of view, we just need to get back on track. Everyone in the camp is buzzing. We're still in a great position and we need people to stay positive.”
