Evans focused on some rest, then York!

Evans has seen his side pick up 9 points in the space of a week, including two hard fought away wins at Torquay and Bristol Rovers, to push them back into the automatic promotion spots.

He said today in the Advertiser: "It is important we give the players some time off because we have done a lot of travelling. They'll get Friday off but they will be doing indoor work on Saturday and then be back at the training ground at Parkgate on Sunday.

"We need to keep our minds on the job and make sure we keep the same standards we've shown in the last three games because it's a big derby for York as we're probably the closest league club to them.

"They will sit and try and counter-attack us like other teams do at the New York."

Daniel Nardiello and Michael O'Connor will return to the squad but Daniel Kearns could be missing with a tight hamstring. He will have a second scan on the injury on Monday.
