Don't underestimate what we've done - Sharps

"The play-offs do cross my mind but don't underestimate what we've done, there has been a lot of negative stuff going around Rotherham during the time I've been here", said the scouse centre half.

"Let's look on the positive side and remember what has happened to the other two clubs who started on minus points. Luton went down this week and Bournemouth have dropped right back in it.

"We'd like four wins to finish and if we get them then you never know about the top seven, but it will be a hard four wins because the teams we've got to play are all above us. They will be good games to play in because most of them have something to play for but we'll have to be up for them to have a chance.

"We've had a couple of days off to recharge our batteries and the lads have come back refreshed."

Of the draw at Port Vale on Easter Monday, he added: "We were always in control but without ever looking like we'd score many goals. There were two tired teams out there

"They were there for the taking if we had found another gear, but to be honest we didn't have another gear.

"Monday's match was a chance to claw back some points but we can only do what we can do and it was a point gained in the end. Most teams in this division would have taken four points out of six from the Easter weekend."
