Donation Update And Monday News Round-Up

After bucket collections down at Roots Hall on Friday evening, today the totals of the funds raised to help the Millers were revealed.

Several Rotherham fans were also in attendance at Hillsborough on Saturday where collections around the ground reached the great figure of over four grand, to add to the £669.34 from Southend. A great big thanks to everyone who donated, but we need to keep the momentum going!

Bucket collections are set to continue tomorrow night against Bournemouth at various pubs and outside Millmoor, with copies of the Millermen CD on sale for £5 each and Save The Milers badges for sale too. A reminder to anyone part of the Supporters Club that Lee Williamson and Stephen Brogan signed shirts are being raffled off and tickets are available in the clubroom at £1 a strip. Make sure you check out the items available on ebay too, where you'll find some great memorabilia donated by Millers fans in aid of the campaign.

Tomorrow nights game has been dubbed 'Love the Millers' day, what better way to spend a romantic evening with the missus than watching the lads and singing your 'heart' out! ;-) The game is pay on the day so don't worry about the database stuff, get down and back the campaign on and off the field!

Finally, just a reminder of the fans forum to be staged at Magna on Thursday evening. Organised by RUST, the forum is set to be a key part of the Save The Millers campaign and an opportunity to air views and suggest possible fundraisers.
Chairman Craig Saunderson told the official site: "Magna have very kindly allowed us to use their venue free of charge and we are very greatful to them for doing so. Once again it shows how everybody in town is rallying round to support the Millers."

The forum gets underway at 7.30pm but get there early to take up a seat.
