Speaking to the Rotherham Star, Brecks said that he hoped a deal could be done in the next day to bring in a central defender who can play anywhere in defence.

As usual he refused to name any names but it is thought the defender will be coming from a Championship club.

"We have been in talks with a couple of defenders, I am very hopeful that we can finalise something with one of them very shortly. Talks with him and his agent have progressed very well." Breck told the Star.

This will be the clubs 8th new signing of the close season.
