D-Day for Knilly as transfer speculation starts

Both manager and chairman are confident of bringing in fresh faces as the injury list mounts and the in's and out's start around Millmoor.

Hunt on for new blood
With Dave Hibbert returning to Preston and all the speculation about Will Hoskins, a couple of strikers may well be on Knill's agenda as he met with the scouts and the board today.

Knill may also be after cover for wide on the left but probably has enough in central midfield even if Lee Williamson leaves the club. One promising aspect is the emergence of two or three of his younger players so far this season.

Stephen Brogan has already picked up a man of the match poll from you the site readers in his first start, so with the added bonus of having players back fit in two weeks time for the Chesterfield clash, Knill will hope to climb up the League One table sooner rather than later.

Of course as we all know money is tight, but Coleman said yesterday: "I've told Alan to bring his list of players he'd like to me, I'll take that to the board and see what we can let him have and what he can bring in."
