Cutler, who has been working closely with goalkeeping coach Simon Tracy and the management team, inisists he's enjoying his football and thinks the Millers are in safe hands.

In an interview with the official site, the stopper said: "It's good to get back and get a feel of things again. You can train as hard as you want and as long as you want but it's good to get into matches.

"Pre-season has been really good so far, Alan Knill has been really professional as has Simon Tracy as we haven't had to do alot of running because we have concentrated more on goalkeeping work.

"A keeper's fitness is totally different from the other players and we have been working really hard. Games like the one this morning are all about getting a feel for the ball again and to bond together well as we have had a lot of new lads coming in.

"We have some decent games coming up in pre-season and that will help. I know that Gary Montgomery will be pushing me all the way again this season so I know if i'm not playing well he'll take my place - there can be no relaxing."
