Crewe sack Thordarson ahead of Millers clash

Last updated : 03 October 2009 By Deano
The ex-Barnsley boss, who made his name at Stoke City, has seen Crewe lose their last four league games after relegation from League One last season.

He leaves the job with Alex 15th in the table after a promising start to the season continues to slide.

The Millers will be hoping that Crewe Director of Football Dario Gradi, who managed the club between 1983 and 2007, has to wait for his first win back in caretaker charge tomorrow.
