Tony who has worked at Millmoor for the past couple of years as the 'Stadium' announcer has been promoted into the Commercial Managers post which has been vacant since the depature of Dan Millard.

Tony who runs his own Dj business is a staunch Rotherham fan and often posts on this very site.

Speaking to the clubs official website today, the clubs commercial director Gary Hall said; "Tony is well known in the area and operates his own successful business. He has many years experience in business to business and retail sales and has a passion for the club to help drive it forward."

Meanwhile Tony himself said; "Commercial Manager is a pivotal job within the club to generate additional income, particularly from the local business community through sponsorship and additional events. I'm looking forward to building a stronger working relationship between the club and businesses in Rotherham and the surrounding area"

Let's hope he can turn the commercial department around and bring in some much needed revenue, first point of call is to get some stock in the shop?
