Chances for all - Robins

Robins made four changes in the 4-2 win at Luton on Tuesday evening, mainly freshening up midfield and spoke to the Advertiser about the final run in.

"I can't promise them (the fringe players) games but I can promise them a competitive environment and the chance to break into the side if they're doing well enough and others drop their standards.

"Everyone is treated the same here and the lads involved on a matchday have to work hard to stay in", said the gaffer.

"I've still got players champing at the bit and others playing for contracts so everyone is on their toes. "We have worked on keeping everyone on the ball but there is a really good, hard-working set here. They're all great lads."

He continued: "We looked a bit leggy against Accrington on Saturday and needed a change around. We've got a good squad and some people in there who can do a job.

"The lads that came in did well and have given me a nice problem. Danny Harrison took his chance well for his goal and Jason Taylor grew into the game as it went along.

"Mark Hudson needed a rest so I dropped him to the bench but then he came on and scored a goal.

"As I said, I've got a nice selection headache. There's still eight matches to come in a short period and every squad member has to keep in shape to play when needed."
