from Bury, and he is one of the candidates to take the roll of captain.
This week Cresswell spoke to the Advertiser on his thoughts of taking on the job: "If I was offered it then it would be amazing for me as a life-long supporter of the club, but we'll see how pre-season goes and let the manager decide. It would be a massive honour."
"I think that with the current crop of players we should be targeting a place in at least the playoffs again, but I think we could get automatic."
