Having scored 14 goals for Matlock last season, and three hat-tricks for Sheffield University, high hopes are expected of the promising front man who has just completed his law degree.
"I was very impressed when I watched him at Matlock so he was invited to play for our reserves in the last game at Scunthorpe", said Robins, speaking to www.themillers.co.uk.
"In that game he played a major role in a comprehensive Rotherham win. He did very well again so we have snapped him up and he will now join us when we return for pre-season training."
Best wishes go to Tom from MillersMAD during his Rotherham career.
