Butler was stretchered off during the game against Sheffield United on saturday with what looked like a very severe injury.

Luckily the striker who has already missed the majoriy of the season only received concussion, and was released from hospital on Saturday night after a check up.

Butler
However, it was first thought that he would be automatically out of the bottom of the table clash between us and Gillingham, as FA Rules stated that any player that is knocked unconscious cannot play for another 15 days after the event.

However, it has come to light that the rule has now been rescinded and that subject to doctors advice Butt's could well be in the team to face the Gills and former Miller Darren Byfield.

Boss Ronnie Moore told the clubs official site Ronnie said: "Before a player returns to action now, he just has to obtain medical clearance that he is OK to carry on playing and Martin will see a specialist on Wednesday so we are hoping he will be available for the important game at Gillingham on Saturday."

Lets hope all is well after what looked a shocking accident.
