Butler - It's the way things work out

The striker could well be on his way out of Millmoor at the end of the season, but came off the bench against Tranmere to score the first and play a part in the crucial second goal.

He explained to the official site: "It's way the things work out, sometimes they go your way and fortunately it meant we got the three points.

"It was nice to get my goal with a right foot volley but that's the way it goes, sometimes they go in and sometimes they don't. Then for the second goal I chased the ball as the keeper threw it out and that is part and parcel of your job to help your team mates.

"Lee Williamson then got onto it and put a great ball in and the keeper made a brilliant save from Paul Shaw's first shot but luckily it came back to hit him and go into the net. We haven't had the rub of the green like that in alot of our games.

"Tranmere didn't really hurt us but our lads at the back defended so well they didn't really look like scoring so it was upto us to try and get a goal. It's exciting at the bottom of the table but as long as we finish above that line that's all that matters."
