Busy week ahead - Evans

The Millers travel to sixth-placed Peterborough on Saturday sitting eight points above them and a further six ahead of MK Dons in seventh.

A win at London Road would surely make their top-six berth secure, but with Brentford, Wolves and in-form Sheffield United still to play, Evans is taking nothing as a given.

"We have got a big week ahead of us," he said. "We go to London Road and then host Brentford and Bristol City and if we beat those three then we will certainly be believing we can make the play-offs.

"We have to keep the players focused on the performances, it is my job to make sure there is no complacency from here until the end of the season.

"Our objective is first and foremost to achieve a play-off place because a lot of people in the game doubt we can achieve this.

"Let's get that hurdle over and then if we can get in the play-offs then let us see if the top two is a possibility.

"We have seen Wolves and Leyton Orient getting beat and there is a lot of football to be played and I count us in that. We have to deliver a lot of football just to get in the play-offs."
