The young full back captained a side mixed with youth and experience and set up Rotherhan's only goal as the Millers, who took the lead through Grocott, were pegged back to eventually lose 2-1.

The 21 year-old is due to sign a fresh two year contract ion the near future, as first reported on MillersMAD three weeks ago.

Team: Cann, Webster, Helmsley (Hutton 57), Haggerty, Nicholas, Brogan, Holmes, Banks (Parr-Gallacher 61), Phillips, Grocott, Garcia.

Brogan is unlikely to figure in the final two league outings of the season in the first team, with the Millers entertaining Exeter on the final day. They travel to Bradford on Saturday and a reminder that this is an all ticket fixture for Rotherham fans.
