The 18 year-old, who prefers to play in midfield but has already put in a man of the match performance at left back in recent weeks, spoke to www.themillers.co.uk about grabbing the opportunity to play at first team level with both hands.

He explained: "I have taken it in my stride; I have been playing well in the reserves and I have been putting my point across to Knilly, i'm just happy to get my chance, I am pleased with the way it has been going and the manager has been pleased with me, he has spoken to me in the office and told me what he has thought of my performances. I am just happy the way I have played and I will just carry on from here.

"My best position is in centre midfield, that is what I think and that is what the manager thinks. With the injuries to Paul Hurst and Gregor Robertson, I was asked to do a job at left back and I have played there when I was younger. I was asked to do a job and that's what I did, if it means I am going to play then I grab it with both hands."
