Brogan, 20, suffered a double fracture of his leg at the MK Dons a year ago and today returned to the training ground, a happy sight for all Millers fans.

Boss Mark Robins told today's Star: "He's been in and around us for a while and he's the sort who's good to have around but now he can join in.

"It's a boost to have him stepping up his training and everyone will be delighted to see it but he's still not ready for any match action and it will be a while yet. He's worked hard and is continuing to do so morning and afternoon."

Meanwhile Andy Warrington has also returned to training after his injury lay off. Loan 'keeper David Stockdale is due to head back to Fulham on January 17th, but it's unclear as yet whether Rotherham will persue extending the deal.
