BREAKING NEWS: Wright deal falls through

Rotherham had agreed what was described as a nominal fee with Wright's club Barnsley yesterday and we understood the Millers had even got as far as sorting him a shirt out!

Whilst we broke the news of the deal here on MAD we had reported that contract talks still needed finalising - now it seems negotiations have broken down at the final hurdle between the two parties and Wright may seek a move elsewhere.

The Millers official website states that the club will not jeopodise the future of the club for the sake of meeting agents demands.
