Last updated : 25 September 2009 By Duke
56 year-old Moore led the club to back to back promotions from 1999-2001 before being sacked in 2005.

Four years on the fans favourite returns to the helm under the chairmanship of Tony Stewart and replaces the outgoing Mark Robins after he left for Barnsley after two and a half years in charge.

Robins led the club to comfortable safety last season in League Two, overturning a 17 point deduction and working through two administrations during his tenure at Millmoor and then the clubs current home, Don Valley Stadium.

Further details on Moore's appointment will be released in a press conference at 10.30am on Friday morning.
