Knill was asked if Will would still be a Rotherham United player come Febuary, to which he replied: "We made him an offer but theyve turned it down. I dissapointed with that but what can you do? We made them an offer and try to convince the player that is the best for him and yet they turn it down."
Asked if there is any room for manouvure; "It's with them, its Will and his advisors, the balls in their court. I've had Will since he was 15 and I've always given him honest advice and I will continue to do that but hes had advice from somewhere else and at the moment he's taking that."
"We only want the best for him and I think that the best thing for him is to stay at Rotherham United and score goals."
Asked if he was now under pressure to sell Hoskins in the January window, "Theres no pressure on me to sell him, No pressure at all. He's under 24 so we'll take it to tribunal if we have to but there is no pressure to sell Will Hoskins, or Lee Williamson no pressure at all."
"The board have been fantastic, their main priority is like mine and to keep the club in this division and we want to keep Will and Lee as they are major parts of the team."
