Odemwingie has impressed in the few minutes he's had so far after joining the Millers a fornight ago, but he admits he isnt at full fitness yet.

Speaking to themillers.co.uk he said; "I am improving my fitness all the time, In a way I didn't expect to be at the level I am now, as much as I wish I was at my peak fitness levels. There was going to be a drop because you just can't replicate the intensity of when you are training on a daily basis."

"I think I have done okay so far, I had my body fat taken this week and it was good, so I know that despite being out of the routine until recently, I am not far away getting back to the levels I want to be at."

"It is a case now of continuing to work hard. I will be working hard, as will the rest of the lads, through the international break with my personal aim to get close to where I need to be."

Despite only recently linking up with the squad, he's enjoying his time with the Millers; "Every day has been really lively, I haven't had a dull day yet. I have really enjoyed my time here so far, It was a little box to tick (the assist for Richard Wood's goal) which was good."

"I think performances now will only get better, and we are remain optimistic that we can turn things around. There is no-one here with their head down, we are looking forward to the next game and trying to pick up some valuable points as we move towards Christmas." he added.
