Blades to Sharpen Millers Squad?

With Alan Knill having 4 players out for Tuesdays game against Port Vale, the caretaker boss has been out searching for some new additions to the Millers squad.

A few weeks ago, Colin down at the lane said that he would want to help the Millers out with a few players, and it seems that is still his intention, speaking to Radio Sheffield after Sheff United's FA Cup exit to Colchester, Colin said:-

"We've one or two clubs ask us about some young lads, I was going to let Hursty go elsewhere but Chesterfield still want him. There will be 1 or 2 out so we can get them back in 28 days, so that I have them all in the run in."

Forte - Coming to Millmoor?
When asked by Paul Walker if he still intended helping the Millers, Colin replied with, "Yes, Alan Knill was here today. We have one or two lads here which I think can help him, but we have a problem with young Ian Ross, I think Ian could have done a very good job there along with a couple of the other lads. But we've also had numerous clubs after them so I'll speak to them Monday and just see who prepared to go and we'll play it by ear."

"The lads are keen to go out on loan. Ideally I'd like to send 2 or 3 of them go to the same club, ideally Rotherham. Simply because I think it would be good if they work together.I think Alan's a very good coach so that would'nt worry me in the slightest."

Paul Shaw
Rumour has it that at least 3 players will be joining the club on loan on Monday, one of the names banded about is Paul Shaw who will join the club after a loan spell last season and maybe Jonathan Forte.

Rotherham born Fraser Richardson is also rumoured to be coming on loan from Leeds, however that is just rumour at present.
