30 year old Blackstock was signed by former manager Alan Stubbs in early September on a 3 year deal after being released from his contract at Nottingham Forest by mutual consent after being plagued by injury.
So far Blackstock has made 8 appearances scoring one goal from 3 shots on target.
However after the 3-0 defeat at Derby, boss Kenny Jackett told the press; “Dexter had a quad injury and that is why he missed out, I don’t know how long he will be out for.”
