Be patient with O'Grady asks Robins..

The 21 year old striker who cost the Millers £65k last season was substituted at half time after a poor first half against Darlington last Saturday.

But manager Mark Robins asks fans to go easy on the lad and explains; "Chris is a young lad. He's come in and done ever so well this season but there's going to be times it doesn't work out. He's 21 years old. He's got to bed himself in. If he's not right for us then as a manager you've got to make that decision and try and change it."

"I just felt is wasn't going to be his day on Saturday. He and Derek Holmes were making the same movements but Derek was giving us a little bit more, certainly in the air. It didn't look right. Those two played up against the centre-halves and made it easy for them." he added.

With rumours of O'Grady struggling with a back problem and the loan signing yesterday of Bruce Dyer from local neighbours Pikecaster Rovers, O'Grady will be having pressure applied on him to perform.
