Barker tribunal delayed.

The tribunal was delayed leaving the player still in limbo as he cannot play for Blackpool until the case is sorted out.

Millers Chief Operating Officer Paul Douglas told todays Rotherham Star: "The PFA who are representing the player did not provide us with their skeleton argument in time for us to prepare our case and our advisors said we needed more time so the matter has been adjourned until the end of August."

"We feel we have a good case and intend fighting it and defending our right to compensation. It is nothing to do with Blackpool, the dispute is with the player and his agent," Douglas added.

With the 2 clubs meeting at Bloomfield Rd on August 12th, should the deal not be completed 'out of court' then Barker will not be able play against us.
