Barker looking forward to revisiting old club

Barker played for the Macc before Ronnie Moore signed him for the Millers back in 2001.

"I absolutely loved my time at Macclesfield. It was brilliant, It was where I started carving out my reputation as a goal scorer in a lower division. I owe the club a lot and I have nothing but good memories of the place." Barker told the 'Tiser.

"It's a great little club and a great bunch of people. A lot of the people who were there when I was there nine years ago are still there. I always look forward to going back and seeing them. Every time I've gone back the fans have been spot on to me. Mind you, on my last visit I scored two in the last five minutes to win the game 3-2 for Mansfield, so they might not be as receptive to me this time, but I hope that's not the case." he added

"It's another difficult game in a long run of games in a short period of time for us. "It will be a tester on the legs and on the squad but we have a big enough squad to get through matches like this."
