Ban won't affect my players - Evans

Evans was banned from all stadia in games involving the Millers and fined £3,000 earlier this week for incidents in relation to a game at Bradford whilst in charge of Crawley Town last season.

His six game absence starts with this weekends game at home to Torquay, and the boss says it'll be difficult for him.

"It won't change the passion and the drive and commitment that I have. It'll be hard for me, that's why it was done, but it won't affect the players because they're professional and they'll get on with business.

"I'll be speaking to my staff on the bench on the phone. I've got experienced staff and I'll let them get on with their jobs. Paul (Raynor) will be making the decisions as the game goes forward and the one thing I know is that he will be making them with the right intentions."

Evans will watch Rochdale, who are next Tuesdays opponents, after giving his team talk on Saturday morning at a hotel location.

He added: "Given what happened last week (at Port Vale) it's even harder for me not to be involved but we've only had one bad 30 minute spell in five games.

"There'll be one or two changes but you don't throw everything you've done out of the window because of one bad result."
