Speaking to the Rotherham Star Dobbs said, "the club has made great strides since the board took over nearly a year ago when they promised to deliver the new stand which we all know was much needed."

"Of course, with all that has going off things are at a low ebb, but this is when this club of ours needs every bit of support it can get. I acknowledge it is a difficult time for the fans but really I would urge them to show as much support as they can." he added.

Dobbs was the RUST rep on the club board for nearly three years, "Being a fan who has been on the inside, seeing how it works and what it takes. I appreciate it all more then ever now, The Directors really do put in a lot of time and effort. We have great staff at the club who all work so hard, the players do work really hard and I have seen the effort put into all this."

"So much has been achieved with the links with the football in the community, the center of excellence, through to community development and it is all geared to a club that relates directly to teh community."

"The club is going through a difficult time and we would love to see things going right on the field as soon as possible. I've always supported the club and will always be a fan. I look forward to the new stand to be finished and become functioning so it can help the club.
